Jane O'Donovan

The following e-mail has been received from Micheale Davis, who is from Canada, and is interested in hearing from anyone who has memories of her mother, who lived in the Castle lodge many years ago.

My Mum lived in the "? lodge " at the entrance or in the grounds of Dripsey castle in the late 1920's into the 30's. I think her father was a ploughman and she was one of about 10 children. Some of their names Jane ( my Mum) Nell Con Peggy Denny Michael John Mary. Their surname was O' Donovan. She recalls playing with an Andrew O'Shaughnessy, I presume from the castle/house, as they owned the property then.It is my Mum's 80th birthday this year and I would like to know if anyone recalls her family, and could give me any interesting info. I currently live in Canada, and have visited Dripsey when I was younger.
