The Weigh Inn at Dripsey Cross Home to Dripsey
Weigh Inn

This is the social heart of Dripsey, where the road crosses the river into Coachford and where the public house, The Weigh Inn can be found.  It is a favourite stopping-place for travellers and locals alike and, like all good meeting places, there is much to be enjoyed at any time.  Regular musical and dancing evenings draw the locals from all around and the craic is mighty.  Kevin and Helen Feeney are the hosts at The Weigh Inn.

Dripsey Cross was the scene of the Shortest Saint Patrick's Day Parade in the world, which was held each year from 1999 to 2004, initially to mark the Millennium. It was discontinued when the Lee Valley Inn closed, but has since been replaced by an annual St Patrick's Day Vintage Tractor and Car Rally.
